Barbara Acker Kirk	Bob McDowell	Barb: I desparately need to bring to an end the profound sense of remorse I've carried with me throughout my entire adult life for letting you down on so many levels so many years ago. It's been eating away at me for over 40 years now, and I just don't want to take this to my grave with me if I can help it! I know you've faced many challenges in your life over the years and I'm not here to pass judgment; I have no hidden agendas, and I have no intentions of adding any further drama to your life. I just need to make contact with you so that I can apologize for my many imperfections and the inappropriate decisions I made once upon a time. I OWE YOU that much! I wish I had the power to go back in time and re-create the past... to undo and redo so many things, but I can't! Perhaps there's someone out there who has remained in contact with Barb over the years? If so, PLEASE let her know how truly and profoundly sorry I am for letting her down, and that I want nothing from her relationship-wise. Thank you!
